Two large sheets of paper mounted one in front of the other, with a 45 cm space between them. Pinned onto the wall 45 cm behind the inner sheet, a piece of black fabric. Using a needlelike tool, I've perforated parts of the papers. The perforated area measures 140 x 210 cm for the front paper, and 75 x 170 cm for the back paper. Transparency and materiality play equal parts in this work, as focus constantly shifts when the gaze moves between surface and depth.
