About

The essential theme in my work is the inseparable relation between space, self and body. My work is mainly site-specific: large scale installations, clinging closely to the architecture of the exhibitions space. I prefer working with simple materials such as wall paint or paper, which I process in different ways, charging its everyday expression with a quality of poetic ambiguity.
Working manually, my hand leaves traces in the material bearing witness to the physical act of the work itself, evoking an echo within the viewer. These traces also tell about the time spent producing the work, a contrast to the ephemerality implied by the fragile materials.
